Michael Allen Harrison will join Hazzan Mike Stein for the “Music Across Time” concert, Saturday, February 4, celebrating over 50 years of performances around the world. Stein is a Grammy Award nominee and featured artist on a Grammy-winning CD, original Peter in Jesus Christ Superstar on Broadway, Navy Band White House unit musician playing for four presidents, featured on the Grand Ol’ Opry and songwriter with a song in the Great American Songbook of Patriotic Songs (Hal Leonard).
Mike will be accompanied by his son Justin Stein (bass), wife Kelley Stein (vocals), Chuck Holloway (banjo/guitar), Richard Melling (dobro/guitar) and Michael Allen Harrison (piano). When Mike plays with his family, he affectionately calls them the “Rolling Steins.”
Musical styles will vary from bluegrass to jazz and from classical hazzanut to reggae. From Middle Eastern to Country and Western. An evening that will bring you around the world, introducing you to Jewish and ethnic cultures that Mike and his family live and celebrate.
