Seeking dynamic professionals under 45 who want to have impact

The Oregon Jewish Community Foundations is recruiting its fourth Giving Council Cohort. The deadline for registration is Dec. 27.

Who: Career minded Jews in the Portland area interested in a different take on philanthropy

What: Participate in the fourth cohort of the OJCF Giving Council, a giving circle.  A “giving circle” is a group of philanthropic people who come together to pool their financial resources and decide collectively to which nonprofits their contributions will be granted.

When: This fourth cohort will meet downtown January 2019-July 2019 in the evening

How:  A consensus based process as a group with discussions around values, organizational needs and more. Funds granted will go to organizations researched and agreed upon by participants. Lindsay Krivosha and David Hirsch will be serving as our co-chairs.

Why: To make a larger impact as a group than one could make individually. To meet dynamic and caring members of the Jewish community. To learn and network .
