11th Annual Sara Glasgow Cogan Memorial Lecture

Doors open at 7 pm, Lecture begins at 7:30 pm on April 25.

Renowned Yale historian Timothy Snyder will speak on “Resisting Tyranny: Lessons from the European 20th Century.” The lecture received support from PSU Professor Emeritus Nathan Cogan and the Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for the Holocaust Education, through a grant from Oregon Humanities. Cosponsored by the Oregon Jewish Community Foundation, Jewish Federation of Greater Portland, Oregon Historical Society, Mittleman Jewish Community Center/Portland Jewish Academy, Russian Flagship program at PSU, Jonathan and Wendy Cogan, and Holocaust and Genocide Studies Project at PSU.
