Siddur Study: The Bar’chu

This Sunday, Feb. 15, from 4:00-5:30, explore the history and various interpretations of the “Bar’chu”, the call to prayer. This is the third in a series of eight classes taught by Robert Lowe, a P’nai Or leader and a graduate of ALEPH’s Davennen Leadership Training Institute. His course invites discussion as well as study of the text, My People’s Prayer Book: The Sh’ma and Its Blessings. Classes meet monthly at P’nai Or, 9750 SW Terwilliger Blvd., Portland.
