Humans are amazing balancing bipeds, but as we get older the balancing act can get more challenging. In this playful and informative workshop we will stimulate the vestibular system, explore the intersection of posture and balance, and learn how we can improve both by tweaking how we think and how we move.  Taught by Eve Bernfeld, Certified teacher of the Alexander Technique.

Eve Bernfeld, M.A., M.AmSAT, has been engaged in somatic research and education for over two decades, as a dancer, actor, singer, licensed Drama teacher, certified Alexander Technique teacher and mother of triplets. She owns In Balance Alexander Technique, is an adjunct professor at Lewis & Clark College and teaches around the region. She is fiercely committed to empowering people of all ages to coordinate their own bodies with greater self-assurance and control.
