Help build our community Sukkah! Fun for kids and adults! Bring your own decorations or create some while you are here to hang up in the Sukkah! An adult supervises all activities.

Each month the MJCC and PJA communities will collect items for the monthly mitzvah. Drop off items in the blue bin in the MJCC lobby. Check the display for how you can participate and donate to these worthy causes.
This project reflects the Jewish commitment to Tikkun Olam (repairing the world), providing opportunities to give back to our community.

June – Fruit for Shavuot for Neighborhood House Food Pantry
Roots/Shorashim/Judar is a unique collaboration of local Palestinians and Israelis building a model for co-existence by fostering a grassroots movement of understanding, nonviolence, and transformation. Please join us as Hanan Schlesinger, an Orthodox rabbi and passionate Zionist settler, and Palestinian Shadi Abu Awwad, the architect and coordinator of the Roots youth movement, visit us to share their personal stories and how they are working together to build a better future for their peoples through ROOTS. How to Make Your Estate Work for You: An Afternoon with Leonard Duboff

Leonard DuBoff is one of the world’s leading authorities on art law. He has pioneered the field, written extensively on the subject, and lectured all over the world. Mr. DuBoff was a professor of law first teaching at Stanford Law School then at Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon, for almost a quarter of a century, specializing in art law, corporations, agency partnership, and high-tech law.
