Portland International Airport (PDX) has finally debuted its renovated main terminal. The renovation has been in progress since 2020 and reportedly cost over 2 billion dollars.The new look reflects Oregon’s beautiful foliage and includes a timber roof.
A spokesman for the Port of Portland said this “biophilic design” can “lower travelers’ stress, blood pressure, and heart rate” and feel “like a stroll through a Pacific Northwest forest.”
