Tilikum-Sell

CNS is inaugurating this new route by transforming our booth into a Sukkah (booth or temporary dwelling). We’re using Parkways to draw attention to the ancient harvest festival and educate the public about helping meet the needs of our Portland community.
The harvest festival of Sukkot is an eight day holiday which begins at sundown on Sunday, September 27th. “Living in a temporary dwelling raises our awareness of those who live in temporary structures in our local community and communities around us all year long,” Rabbi Eve Posen.
Sole Support is a powerful and inspiring opportunity to unite as a community in celebration of individuals and families living with Parkinson’s, increase awareness about steps we can take to improve their quality of life, and raise money to help Parkinson’s Resources provide customized programming to local residents. Each of these “fun”raising 1k and 5k walks are wheelchair, walker, and family friendly and will be rockin’ to the “sole”ful tunes of Stump City Soul!
Every step you take is personal, and together we are helping to insure that no one has to face this disease alone. Become a PD Hero today!
Sukkot music and stories, gourd decorating, and lots of family fun.
