“Pirkei Imahot” Book Launch @ Congregation Neveh Shalom

Join us as Rabbi Eve Posen and Lois Sussman Shenker launch their new book Pirkei Imahot: The Wisdom of Mothers, The Voices of Women — a product of two years of one-on-one study together. They will each discuss the process of writing the book and share a favorite teaching. Ruth Messinger, former President of AJWS, who wrote the foreword for the book, will present as well. Cookie oneg to follow. Co-sponsored by Congregation Neveh Shalom, The Oregon Board of Rabbis, and The Jewish Federation of Greater Portland.
