Kick out the jams with our home grown rock band & help us support Street Roots (creating income opportunities for people experiencing homelessness and poverty by publishing a newspaper and other media that are catalysts for individual and social change). Bring your donations of gloves, socks, scarves, hand warmers, ponchos, hygiene items and gift cards. Let’s donate, dance, sing, eat, drink and light up the night with our music!

We’ll have drinks, latkes (made by our Sisterhood), soup, salad and so much more! While there is no door charge, we are asking for a donation to support this very special event!

Suggested donation: $10 per person, $25 per family.

Carvalhos’ Journey.  A compelling documentary film about the mapping of the American west and western migration led by General John C. Freemont.  A real life 19th century American western adventure story, Carvalho’s Journey tells the extraordinary story of Solomon Nunes Carvalho (1815-1897), an observant Sephardic Jew born in Charleston, SC, and his life as a groundbreaking photographer, artist and pioneer in American history.
