Grand Opening celebration!
Barbur Vista, a small scale residential care facility (12 single rooms and 2 double rooms) has been created with the needs of Kosher observant Jews in mind. We provide 3 meals and 2 snacks a day, medication management, daily activities that range from exercise to musical entertainment, assistance with laundry, bathing, and other daily living essentials as needed. Because we are a small facility, we are able to provide specialized care in a home like setting, in many cases, thru the end of life. The facility is provided oversight by a nurse, who can provide advice, assessment of changes and nurse delegations for some nursing tasks as needed, ensuring you or your loved ones receive the best care possible! We pride ourselves on getting to know our residents and families very well, and we’d like to get to know you!
Join PJ Library for 2 special summer story hours at Green Bean Books!
This summer, we’re taking it outside! Please join us at 6 pm on Friday,
July 15, at Wilshire Park (NE 33rd & Skidmore) picnic area A for a very
joyful, very musical Kabbalat Shabbat with Gayle Lovejoy, Cathy Zheutlin,
and Chaim Lev. We’ll start with a bring-your-own-picnic at 6 pm, then the
service will start around 6:45, followed by an oneg, complete with birthday
cake to celebrate July birthdays!
