Community Selichot – an Evening of Learning @ Online

How have you dealt with this very difficult time of uncertainty? Are you quarantining? Are you going for long walks? Are you protesting? Are you writing poetry? Are you looking for some stimulating activities? Well, on Sunday, September 13th at 6:30 pm, you will have an opportunity to virtually view pieces of art in the creation process and talk with 16 artists who are members of ORA: Northwest Jewish Artists. You will also be able to talk with them, to learn about their creative processes and how they have used this difficult time to inspire meaningful pieces of art.
Presented by Mittleman Jewish Community Center, in partnership with ORA, this exhibit lets you participate in a reflective, thought-provoking, creative experience, and you can purchase the art if you wish.

Torah Troop for 3rd-5th Graders

1st and 3rd Shabbat every month at 10:00am

Meet in the MAIN service (Stampfer Chapel or Main Sanctuary) for the beginning of the Torah service, and then come out with your friends for a fun and active lesson on the Torah portion (parsha) of the week. Return to the service to help lead Adon Olam, and join the community for lunch!

3:30-4:30 pm and 5:30-6:30 pm @ Grant Park on NE 33rd
Join us to bring in a sweet New Year and kick-off a year full of BB Camp fun! We will provide crafts, games, and of course, apples and honey!

Celebrate Rosh Hashanah and reunite with your BB Camp friends and counselors, get involved with our BB Camp community, and enjoy the beginning of a year full of meaningful BB Camp programming. For the convenience of our families, we will be providing a westside and eastside location, so we hope to see you all there! $18 / per family
