Share the joys and challenges of breastfeeding, feeding and new parenting! Join the group if you are breastfeeding, formula feeding, pumping, bottle feeding or supporting a breastfeeding parent. Group moderated by Lara Greenberg, a board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC). Expert guest speakers will join us for two of the groups to share knowledge on hot parenting topics, including infant gum/tooth care and postpartum mood disorders. Healthy snacks and activities for older siblings provided.

Kick off Pride Weekend with a warm and welcoming Shabbat service and dinner! All LGBTQ individuals and allies are welcome (CNS members and non-members are welcome).

5:45pm: Drinks and Schmooze;
6:15pm: Shabbat Evening Service;
7:15pm: Shabbat Dinner.

The service will be SHIR! A Musical Shabbat where you can immerse yourself in the musical ruach of Kabbalat Shabbat and make it a truly uplifting experience. With Cantor Eyal Bitton, the Koleinu Choir and the Shir! Musical Ensemble.

Dinner: $12/adult, $6/child.

Torah Troop for 3rd-5th Graders

1st and 3rd Shabbat every month at 10:00am

Meet in the MAIN service (Stampfer Chapel or Main Sanctuary) for the beginning of the Torah service, and then come out with your friends for a fun and active lesson on the Torah portion (parsha) of the week. Return to the service to help lead Adon Olam, and join the community for lunch!

Continue the fun and warmth of Congregation Neveh Shalom’s Tot Shabbat with Kiddush Club. We sing, dance, hear a Torah story and more! 1st Shabbat of the month with Rabbi Eve Posen, 3rd Shabbat of the month with Gershon Liberman. Both followed by Kiddush lunch.

Join the Jewish community as we march together at the Portland Pride Parade for the 3rd year.
