Join us for the ninth Jewish Arts Month (JAM)–the annual exhibit of paintings, fiber, beadwork, metals, glass, ceramics, and more co-sponsored by ORA: Northwest Jewish Artists and the Mittleman Jewish Community Center. This year’s show takes place in the MJCC lobby from Sunday, February 2nd through Friday, February 28th. Different sets of 4-6 artists will display their work each week. Everything displayed will be for sale.
JAM Art Show + Sale
Enjoy a rotating exhibit in the MJCC lobby all month. Members of ORA: Northwest Jewish Artists will answer questions, accept commissions, and sell their art. A portion of the proceeds benefits the MJCC.

Sholem Asch’s play The God of Vengeance made a splash on Broadway in 1923, when it was shut down and all of the actors were arrested on charges of obscenity for portraying a lesbian romance between a brothel-owner’s daughter and one of the prostitutes. Pulitzer-prize winning playwright Paula Vogel weaves scenes of Asch’s incendiary play with the imagined conversations with the risk-taking company that brought the script to the stage. Indecent is a riveting backstage drama filled with music, groundbreaking Yiddish theatre, and stage magic.
Looking for a Saturday morning of fun with your family? Each month you can join Rabbi Rose for Tot Shabbat in the Chapel with our famous and hilarious puppets, Lox and Bagel! We’ll share stories, songs, and more as we celebrate the beauty of Shabbat. For very young children (ages 0-5) and their families. Every 4th Saturday. Kiddush lunch open to all around 12:30 pm. An uplifting hour of study on Shabbat with Neveh Shalom’s Education Director Mel Berwin! Delve into biblical and midrashic text, (Hebrew and English text available) with a group of other women to find meaning from our traditions that relate to our lives.
