Cedar Sinai Park residents kicked off their annual Rose Festival with a 1950s’ diner-themed barbecue June 6. Residents, staff and family members enjoyed a classic car show and live music from the Fabulous Farelanes.

Each year, CSP picks a different Rose Festival theme. This year the theme is “Through the Decades.” Throughout the month the campus has various events, including a Roaring ’20s Party, 1970s’ tie-dye making, Singing Through the Decades, Drinking Through the Decades, and a Radical ’80s Party. Each year residents nominate a royal court that culminates with a coronation ceremony presenting the king and queen. A trip to the Rose Garden is generally part of the festivities each year.

Throughout the summer CSP residents will be treated to patriotic-, southern- and beach-themed barbecues.
