Positive Charge! Create Bookmarks

Positive Charge! is a volunteer group, open to everyone, that was created with the exclusive purposes to share good news and, through numerous projects, make a positive impact in our community.

At this event, we will be creating beautiful and reusable bookmarks, each with a message of positivity and compassion, then placing them in the Little Libraries throughout the city to share, pass forward, and spread words of kindness! Little Libraries are spaces that people have constructed in their front yards in neighborhoods throughout the country. https://littlefreelibrary.org/

We will be making 2 different sizes of reusable bookmarks:  1) The narrow version will have enough space to write a single-message of kindness.  2) The wider version will allow more space for us to add the initial message of kindness, and then allow each, successive recipient of the bookmark to add their message of kindness.

Please bring any materials you would like to create these beautiful (and reusable) works of art: durable weight paper (scrapbook or card stock-weight), markers, water color paints, crayons, colored pencils, stickers, ribbon, scissors, paper-punches, paper-cutters, etc. This is another great event for all ages, so if you share this with other people, and they want to know if they can bring their kiddos, the answer is absitively posolutely!
