Wise Aging: Living with Joy, Resilience and Spirit.
This five week program will explore how to live our lives with intention. Each interactive session will include opportunities for personal sharing, contemplative listening, basic mindfulness practice, and text study.
Based on the nationally recognized program developed by the Institute for Jewish Spirituality (IJS), these workshops are designed to help participants explore the years beyond mid-life as a unique opportunity for growth and discovery. Small group discussion will focus on how aging affects us and how we can make this time of our lives more meaningful and more positive.
Participants will need to read the book Wise Aging: Living with Joy, Resilience and Spirit by Rabbi Rachel Cowan & Dr. Linda Thal (not included in the registration fee). This program is made possible through the generosity of Jewish Family and Children’s Services and the Holzman Foundation.
Thursdays, March 5 – April 2, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.
